Urban Futures 2030

Urban development and urban lifestyles of the future

International Conference

Architecture and town planning reflect the self-image, which an urban society generates. In the urban centres, contemporary problems cumulate, as do experimental solutions for these. Today, one can scarcely contemplate urban development and architecture without recourse to the theme of climate change. The international conference “Urban Futures 2030” brings ideas and positions on urban planning in western industrial nations and the new industrial nations in Asia and South America into a productive, fascinating dialogue.
